"Reflecting back on my years at Mercy Regional College, I am grateful for the kind, caring and passionate people I was lucky enough to be involved with. They have no doubt helped me pave the way to the next chapter of my life."

Lewis Taylor
Lewis was identified relatively early as one of the AFL's top draft prospects, following a stellar junior career which included selection in the AIS-AFL Academy squad and him being named Captain of the VIC Country side in the 2013 U18 National Championships. Drafted in 2014 to the Brisbane Lions Taylor's resilience and determination paid off as he was crowned the 2014 AFL Rising Star is the closest count ever. He polled 39 votes, one more than the Western Bulldogs' Marcus Bontempelli, to win the Ron Evans medal.

"I loved my time at Mercy. The teachers were always so approachable and able to manage their professional role and friendship. It was a great family orientated school and much like a second home. I really valued the support everyone showed towards my netball both as a student and after I left. Even to this day, I love coming home and visiting so many familiar faces and catching up on old times."

Sarah Wall
Sarah Wall, creator of Jeanieboy, has played netball at the elite level for 11 years, with the Melbourne Phoenix, Queensland Firebirds, Melbourne Vixens and the 2014 season with the NSW Swifts. Sarah is a qualified teacher, studying Exercise Science and completing her Bachelor of Education at Melbourne University. Sarah’s love for kids was the driving force behind selecting this career path. Although not in the classroom, Sarah’s passion for working with all ages is apart of Jeanieboy everyday. Sarah’s love for the game grows every year.

"Mercy Regional College is committed to holistic education; we are determined to ensure that each student flourishes academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically."
