2022 Car Raffle FAQ


  1. What are the prizes this year?
    A full list of prizes is listed here. We thank all the amazing supporters of our 2022 Car Raffle.
  2. How can I buy tickets?
    It is our preference that all tickets should be purchased online at www.rafflelink.com.au/mrc-raffle-22.
  3. What if I can’t purchase tickets online?
    If you are unable to purchase tickets online, please refer to stores and cafes in the region to pay for your paper tickets with cash. Once your paper tickets are returned it to the College reception, our friendly staff will then enter your details in the online raffle system. We will have pop up stalls at local markets and events. Stay tuned to our social media pages to receive updates.
  4. Can students purchase tickets?
    Raffle entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  5. When can I purchase tickets?
    Tickets can be purchased from Wednesday 25 May 2022. The prizes will be drawn at 2.15 pm on 30 November 2022. All paper tickets are to be returned to Mercy Regional College by 21 November 2022.
  6. When can I purchase tickets for the Early Bird Draw?
    Tickets can be purchased from Wednesday 25 May 2022. The prize will be drawn manually at 1pm on 2 August 2022. If you purchase a bundle of 13 tickets online at www.rafflelink.com.au before 2 August, your name will be automatically entered in the Early Bird draw. If you cannot shop online, purchase all 13 tickets in the paper ticket book to receive a bonus Early Bird ticket. Or sell all tickets in your book, and the Early Bird ticket at the back is yours. Please return your Early Bird ticket, paper tickets butts and money to the College by no later than 3pm on Tuesday 26 July. A ticket bundle of 13 tickets for $100 must be purchased by the Early Bird deadline to be entitled entry into the Early Bird draw.
  7. Will the College know I’ve purchased a bundle of tickets for the Early Bird Draw?
    Yes. We will run a report from our raffle platform RaffleLink which will include a list of all individuals who have purchased a bundle of 13 tickets for $100 online. Please return your Early Bird ticket, paper tickets butts and money to the College before the deadline, so we could add your name to the draw manually.
  8. What happens if I win the Early Bird Draw but don’t have a student attending Mercy Regional College?
    Prizes are not redeemable for cash. You can gift or resell the College Fee Voucher to a person with a College fee account. If you do not know anyone who attends the College, you may like to donate the Fee Voucher as a scholarship to be awarded to a student for the 2023 school year.
  9. If I buy tickets online, do I need to complete the paper ticket book I received in the mail?
    No. We recommend purchasing your tickets online, but you can complete the paper tickets if you’re unable to do so.
  10. Can I assign the names of my family members to each ticket in a bundle?
    Unfortunately, it is not possible to assign different names to each ticket in a bundle through the online platform. After purchasing tickets online, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket numbers. You can assign these numbers to your family members and keep them handy for the raffle draw. Alternatively, you can buy tickets in several transactions which will allow you to use a new name for each transaction. When buying paper tickets, you can put different names down.
  11. Can the prizes be transferred or exchanged for cash?
    No. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  12. Where and when will the prizes be drawn?
    The major prizes will be drawn at 2.15pm on Wednesday, 30 November at Mercy Regional College (15 Henderson Street, Camperdown). The draw will be held at the end of the MRC Year 7-12 Awards Assembly. Anyone is welcome to attend. We will stream the draw live on our Facebook page and Youtube. The Early Bird Draw will be drawn manually at 1.00pm on Tuesday, 2 August at Mercy Regional College, 15 Henderson Street, Camperdown. We will stream the draw live on our Facebook page and Youtube.
  13. How do I find out who wins?
    Come along to the draw, follow us on our Facebook page, or check back to this website after the draw for a list of prize winners. The names of the winners for the top prizes will also be printed in Camperdown Chronicle.
  14. How will my private information be used?
    Your personal information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle. Personal information held about you by Mercy Regional College can be accessed by contacting the College on 03 5593 2011.
  15. How can I support the College and the Car Raffle?
    We would appreciate any support you can provide by not only purchasing a ticket, but by helping us distribute tickets and spread the word. Please share the link for the raffle www.rafflelink.com.au/mrc-raffle-22 or follow our Facebook page and share posts about the Car Raffle with your family and friends. If you know people who are unable to purchase tickets online, please contact the College Office at 03 5593 2011 or community@mercy.vic.edu.au to request spare ticket books. You can then distribute them to your family, friends, work colleagues and customers.
  16. What are the Terms & Conditions of the Raffle?
    This raffle is being held for MERCY REGIONAL COLLEGE 15, Henderson St, Camperdown, VIC, 3260. The Raffle commences on the 25 May 2022, closes on the 30 November 2022 and will be drawn on the 30November 2022 at Mercy Regional College at 2:15. The draw will be conducted using a RaffleLink System draw process. Ticket buyers do not have to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email within 2 days after draw. Details of the Winner(s) will be displayed at https://www.mercy.vic.edu.au/ and https://rafflelink.com.au/mrc-raffle-22 and Camperdown Chronicle. State(s) where tickets are on sale NT, TAS, VIC. Every person who purchases a ticket bundle of 13 tickets for $100 before 2/08/2022 will be entitled entry into an Early Bird Draw for a Mercy Regional College Fees Voucher valued at $300, manually drawn on 2/08/2022 at 1.00pm at Mercy Regional College (15, Henderson Street, Camperdown VIC 3260). Your personal information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle. Personal information held about you by Mercy Regional College can be accessed by contacting the College on 03 5593 2011. Permit/Licence for VIC 10210/22. Persons under the age of 18 years are unable to enter. The odds of winning the stated prizes based on the total possible ticket sales displayed are: 1st Prize 1/6000, 2nd Prize 1/5999, 3rd Prize 1/5998, 4th Prize 1/5997, 5th Prize 1/5996, 6th Prize 1/5995, 7th Prize 1/5994, 8th Prize 1/5993, 9th Prize 1/5992, 10th Prize 1/5991. Prizes are not transferable and non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise stated or permitted by state regulations. Prizes may be substituted, subject to each participating state’s legislative requirements. Some images are display only and may not be a true reflection of the prize.
